Public service is the vision that our Founders had in mind when they established our great sorority over 100 years ago. We magnify their vision through the work we do to support underprivileged students through the following youth initiative programs:

Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy—created in 1996 out of an urgent sense to save our young females in grades 6-8, from the perils of academic failure and low self-esteem.
Delta GEMS (Growing & Empowering Myself Successfully)—offers a road map for college and career planning through activities that provide opportunities for self-reflection and individual growth for girls in grades 9-12
E.M.B.O.D.I. (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities to Developing Independence)—a national program designed to improve the plight of African American males in grades 9-12.

With your help, the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter (LVAC) can continue to develop activities to help our youth. Your contribution as a Sponsor or Advertiser will help impact their lives.
